Focused 1911 service, repair, and reliability work.

Clear Creek Tactical performs a focused set of services on the 1911 platform and related single-action pistols. Pricing is provided after consultation; we do not list rates online because every job is evaluated individually.

All work is performed by a single operator. This means longer relationships, consistent results, and no work passed off to others. Owners travel to the Poolville bench from across Parker County — including Weatherford, Springtown, and Willow Park — as well as nearby Fort Worth.

    Detail Cleaning

    Complete detail strip, inspection of internal components, cleaning, lubrication, reassembly, and full function check.

    • Recommended annually or every 1,500 rounds
    • Carry pistols welcome

    Routine Maintenance

    Field strip cleaning and lubrication, recoil spring inspection, magazine inspection, and a written condition report.

  3. 03

    General Gunsmithing Repairs

    Small parts replacement, fitting, and repair for common firearm issues. Every job starts with an honest assessment, and work is only accepted when it can be done safely, correctly, and within proper gunsmithing standards. We do not perform major frame, slide, or barrel machining at this time. When that level of work is needed, we refer it out to a trusted craftsman we know personally, who uses the same level of care and attention to detail that we do.

    Function & Safety Inspection

    A thorough mechanical and safety inspection for owners who recently acquired a used 1911 or related pistol.

    Custom 1911 Builds

    Specification, parts selection, fitting, and finishing of 1911-style pistols built to your intended use and preferences.

  6. 06

    FFL Transfers

    As a licensed Type 07 FFL, we receive firearms shipped from out-of-state dealers, online retailers, and private sellers, and complete the required transfer to you in person. All federal and Texas state requirements apply, including a completed ATF Form 4473.

    • Flat $40 per-firearm transfer fee
    • Have the seller email or include the FFL with the shipment
    • Government-issued photo ID required at pickup
